General Conditions

The complete general conditions will be printed on your rental agreement or viewing.

The following is a list of most frequent inquired conditions:

Additional Driver(s)
We accept additional drivers at no extra charge. However, every driver has to fulfill all applicable qualifications (age, drivers license etc.) and has to leave its own deposit.

Age Restriction
We don't rent vehicles to drivers under 25 years. Thank you for your understanding.

Availability
We do everything we can in order to ensure the availability of your reserved car. However, we don't have control over certain external events that may cause your car to be undriveable. Because of our special fleet we can't just provide an identical exchange but we'll try to offer you a resonable alternative. Of course, in such situations you have the right to cancel or change your reservation with no fees applied. We'll inform you as soon as possible.

Drivers License
To rent one of our cars you have to have a valid drivers license for at least 3 years.

Gasoline
Please always use the highest octane gas. The cars will run a lot better and the engines will live longer. Gasoline in the USA is a lot cheaper than in your country ... so please give our cars the best. Don't ruin them by trying to save a few dollars.

Insurance
All our prices include the following insurance coverage: liability, collision/comprehensive ($2'500 deductible) and personal injury protection.

Maintenance
Our cars are perfectly maintained and we want to keep up with our high standards. Therefore, if you drive more than 3'000 miles with one of our vehicles you'll have to stop by at a certified service facility and have them do an "oil and lube" service. You'll be reimbursed for the costs by us.

Payment
We don't accept credit cards for payment.

Road Assistance
Emergency Road Assistance is provided through local contractors of our choice. If the problem can't be fixed within 24 hours an exchange car will be provided. Depending on your position we will decide whether it's possible to provide another Fun-Wheels car or if you'll receive a regular rental car from our contractor. Whatever the solution will be: Your satisfaction is our goal.

Transfer
Daily rates are based on walk-in at the Fun-Wheels location. Transfers are available on request.
Weekly rates include transfer from an airport hotel to the Fun-Wheels location and from a hotel at the Fun-Wheels location to the airport. There isn't any discount for not using our transfer services.
